Changes to Healthy Living NT Service as of Monday, March 30

Healthy Living NT has served the community for almost 40 years and we are fully committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of our customers and clients, our staff and the NT community as a whole.  As of Monday, March 30 we are enacting a number of measures to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19.

What’s changing?

  • Our diabetes and cardiac education services will be delivered by phone consultations

  • Private fee-for-service dietetic services will be delivered by phone consultations

  • Our face to face health promotion programs have been suspended

What’s not changing?

  • Office hours, people can still come in to get supplies

  • Product supply, via our offices in Darwin and Alice Springs, phone and web orders

  • Remote clinic supply

  • Our social media and website will be updated regularly, providing information to help maintain physical and mental health

While more changes may be needed in the coming weeks, we have systems in place to maintain services as much as possible.
